C’mon man, the process is ridiculous. You must never have ordered something from Steam, or you are okay with a huuuuuge waste of time with unnecessary and CLUNKY ordering experience. EA just had to copy Steam and maybe even make it BETTER, but they certainly went a couple steps backwards…

I really didn’t find it that difficult. It was annoying, yes, but it took no more than ten minutes. Have we really gone that lazy that we can’t complete a few steps? The only real complaint I had with origins was that my Star Wars Account confirmation email went to my spam so it took me a few days to find it.

To be honest the game is so fun it’s worth the few annoying steps. Try finding a job by filling out 40 pages of security questions, only to be told you need to fill out another 50. Or try adopting a child and after finally completing the 600 hoops you have jumped through, they added a few to the pile, and then a good chunk of your paperwork expires so you have to do it again. So yeah I am really not sweating the minute details of setting up an account and downloading the game.

Can anyone help me? Whenever i go add to cart it just tells me ” Your cart is empty” but with any other game on origin it gives me 1 item in the cart and i can buy it, i can’t buy only swtor. I’ve been doing it for 4 days and still i can’t buy it..

has anyone figured out the deal with the registration codes? it appears that the only one i have is the pre order code(which is no good). I have contacted everyone’s support(EA,Origin, SWTOR) and have not got a response.

Or, I could follow the directions provided and still get into a mess. The way they handled this is dumb as hell and compared to reigning champ, Blizzard, it’s old-fashioned as hell.

Contacting support is quite fun too for Origin, they don’t use email. Fun. Their “live support” wasn’t working for me, so I had to use the “call back” feature, that only accept US phone numbers (but works for Canadian ones anyway). Fun.

yeah um… want to be a little more bloody dramatic?
1) make an account at swtor.com, which doubles as your origin account
2) buy game3) download game4) play gameif your really too stupid to follow a simple process like that, maybe you would be more suited to playing with duplo. or even lego, if your feeling up to the challenge.
