It’s hammer time.

Are you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night? Do you experience feelings of dread in your hut, or tent? Have you or your village seen a monster, troll or a demon? If the answer is yes, then don’t wait another minute. Pick up your soft brush and write the professionals. “Akanerio: Demon Hunters”. Our ceremonious and sufficient swords are on call from the first division of the hour of the rabbit to the fourth division of the hour of the pig to serve all of your supernatural elimination needs. We’re ready to believe you!

Akaneiro Demon Hunters, an action RPG brought to you by American McGee’s Spicy Horses, is a hand painted world filled with ghoulish creatures based from the art and folklore of Japan. It’s vivid representation is not only beautiful to look at, but it helps the player become immersed into the cell shaded-like game. As with most RPG’s, you’re able to build up a demon hunter to your liking, creating endless amounts of options for destroying the damned.

In a nut shell, you’re a bounty hunter ridding the villages of destructive supernatural forces. And if you didn’t catch the reference above, it’s basically what an ancient Ghostbuster would be in Japan.

This morning we received an enemy reveal in form of an e-mail. Let’s take a look at what we’re dealing with…

Flowing down from the deep central mountain ranges of Yomi Island, this river borders a deep pine forest and runs alongside the Temple Highroad.

In Shegimori River, players will find a powerful Ushi Oni that has rallied the Amano Imps to his banner to sow chaos on Yomi Island. At nightfall, they must infilitrate their territory, kill the Imp Captains, then take the head of their leader.

Much like Ghostbusters trapping a ghost, your demon hunter captures the leaders head of an Imp Captain. I ain’t afraid of no beheadin’!
