In Fairness, going in to watch a Marvel Comic based movie, you’d have to expect it to follow the comic, and not the original mythology.

My point was that I didn’t know, going into the experience, that Marvel had raped the mythology as badly as they had. I thought that, since they used “Thor” as the main character, there would be at least SOME resemblance to the original myths.

I’m just sad because I didn’t get my way.

If you know it’s based on the Marvel Comics version of Thor, it’s a bit silly to complain that it’s raped the entire mythology. Especially considering you acknowledge that the only similarities are the names.
