Netflix, Let Me Help You Out

Netflix, Let Me Help You Out

Let me preface this: I don’t have cable TV. I get all my content by paying for Netflix and Hulu Plus. Back when I had cable, I’d learn about new TV shows from commercials. Now it’s harder unless I scour the TV news or visit the networks’ websites. That said, I use Hulu a lot more than Netflix and the stats back me up: 1,427 videos watched since December 2008, and 95% of these are full shows, not clips! Hulu just makes it easier for me to find new TV shows to watch. Why? I’ll tell you what’s up. Read the rest of this article…

Facebook Party Gets Crashed by Over 1,500 People

Damn this sucks for one German teenager who forgot to set the privacy for her 16th birthday party in Hamburg, Germany. The public party event went viral and over 15,000 people confirmed to attend. When her parents found out that their daughter Thessa’s part was public they public cancelled it, hired private security and called the police. 100 police showed up and blocked the home but that didn’t stop over 1,500 people from partying in the streets in front of the home. Lost in Translation: I Don’t Wanna be a Crappy Housewife [LYRICS BELOW VIDEO]

Hi, my name is Tonje. I’m a little pretty girl trapped inside a grown ups body!

*sigh* This little gem, I Don’t Wanna be a Crappy Housewife, comes at you straight from Norway by Tonje Langeteig. I’m sure English is not their first language or really even used, to me it sounds like the lyrics were translated into English using Google Translate or Babelfish. The song is not as catchy as Friday but it has that whole club thing going for it and even some crappy rap lyrics like “you woke up one morning and thought you were young, but no no no your youth was gone, you dont wanna be a crappy housewife no, thats why right now to the disco you go…Read the rest of this article…

Gilt Groupe First to Sell Google Chromebook

I’m sorry it’s too late, they’re all sold out. I got the email early yesterday morning, was busy all day and you wouldn’t have been able to get one unless you got the email so don’t blame me for late news. I wouldn’t have bought one anyway and not for $500, what are they smoking? Anyway Chromebooks officially go on sale June 15th but today Google put up the Samsung Series 5 on Gilt Man. Live in Tennessee? Don’t Share Your Netflix Password!

Tennessee state lawmakers just passed a new law that would make it illegal to share your Netflix, Hulu Plus, Rhapsody, etc login with any of your cheap friends. Pushed by the recording industry (of course), the new bill is just waiting for the Governor to sign it and recording officials hope other states will follow soon. Read the rest of this article…

Twitter Integrating Photos/Videos & New Search

Today a new version of Twitter’s search will start rolling out that integrates relevant photos and video in the search results. Not only is this happening but soon you will be able to attach an image with your tweets using the website or apps. You can already attach an image in the apps but they use a third party like TwitPic or Yfrog, this will be through Twitter. Photobucket and Twitter teamed up to bring the new image sharing.

I’m a really big fan of TwitPic and don’t really like Photobucket so hopefully they will still give you the option to choose whatever you want to use in the official apps. Video after the break.

Holy crap this is exactly how FleshEatingZipper started except we don’t focus on anything, instead we just throw random stuff together and call it a website and pay/bribe/blackmail people to read our site and write comments. Oh and there is no actual people that really write anything, it’s a computer from the future that has a split personality.
