‘SimCity’ 3.0 Update Will Finally (Finally!) Fix Traffic, Goes Live This Week
Will we finally embrace that idyllic suburbia?
While we wait for SimCity to get fixed, Maxis is still busting their buttons to get it done. They’re still not nowhere near Game of the Year contender, but they inch just a little bit closer with every major patch.
Electronic Arts Will Make ‘Star Wars’ Games In Exclusive Deal, Can’t Be That Bad?
This announcement makes my head hurt.
Do you know Electronic Arts? The company with the talented developers and the dreaded management? The company that was voted worst of the year for the second consecutive time and their CEO resigned? The one that launched SimCity and hasn’t come close to fixing it? Microtransactions? Well, they’ll be the only ones making Star Wars games for a couple years.
Stop Pirating Photoshop And Pay $49.99 Monthly, That’s Adobe’s New Plan For Creative Cloud
It’s how creative how they did it. See? See!
CS out, CC in. No longer the Creative Suite, a big expensive box you pirate pick up from a specialty retailer, Adobe announced today that they’re done with the box strategy; they want to move everything to the cloud. FOX created the show, arguably the first in the reality TV genre, twenty-five years ago and they’ve produced over nine-hundred episodes of it. Well, FOX is done with that.

YouTube’s becoming a real business. *sniff*

It also wasn’t that much later that YouTube yanked a lot of those Channels’ funding when they weren’t making any money. Now YouTube has a new idea for these content providers: monthly subscriptions between $1-$5 a month. It kinda makes sense.

I kinda want a Sims crystal.
Who announces an announcement? People! People do! Well, this is par for the Electronic Arts game, so I guess it makes sense. We won’t know anything about the game until this afternoon, although I may exhaust all of my interest reporting about The Sims 4 by the time I finish this post. Read the rest of this article…
