From left field, it’s everything Konami wants to show off next week!
To be honest, I didn’t even know that Konami was having a pre-E3 presser until about 11 minutes before it streamed on Gamespot. Good thing I caught the e-mail otherwise you wouldn’t know anything that happened from their event, right? …right? Anyway, the half-hour affair was amusing, informative and entertaining, but let me break out the four big things that I learned from the show.

Konami Can Kick MASS
MASS, standing for Motion Animation Stability System, is a major new physics system being implemented into their Pro Evolution Soccer release for what appears to be next-gen systems. Now, we’ve seen rag doll physics before, but we’ve yet to see two animating bodies collide and react with a fidelity like this before, all dynamically. I hope for Electronic Arts’ sake that they have a counterpoint or their stuff is going to look last gen.
