Buy A $10 Theme Park For Your ‘SimCity’ Of Broken Dreams
It’s like candy, but then you remember, it’s candy.
SimCity is like that girlfriend that dumped you and just wants to move on. They still won’t atone for their devious actions, but they want the next big thing out of your non-relationship: money. The N5 Show: Week #22, 2013 – E3 2004!
Listen to the old people talk about the good old days.
N, Cody, and TC sit down and chat about their first time going to E3, the fabled year of Halo 2, 2004. They chat about boring stuff you should never ever do, why you should never follow your dreams and go to E3, and why you’d totally enjoy doing just the opposite of those things. Ever been to LA? We hadn’t, either.

‘Strip Search’ Recap: Season 1, Episode 26 “On The Hunt”
Another fun challenge!
Okay, this was pretty exciting. Graham takes the remaining four out for a scavenger hunt around Seattle. Much like the Duck episode a week ago (I mean, months ago), we get to sample more of the local flavor that hosts Penny Arcade’s offices. Also, every weekend should be a 3-day weekend if it means getting to Strip Search sooner.

Will You Pay For Xbox Live Next Generation?
Good thing I just auto-renewed, right? Haha?
When Xbox Live debuted 11 years ago, it made some sense that paying $35-$50 a year for access to the service made sense. All of the competition was on broadband – none of those dial-up laggards – and everyone had a headset, among many other standard features that Microsoft required of Xbox Live developers. Now in a time when only the sturdiest of MMOs can still charge monthly for their gaming service, paying for Xbox Live makes less sense than ever. What can Microsoft do to make it a value again?

‘Minecraft’ Creators Finally Bring Us ‘Scrolls’ Beta, Plus A Launch Trailer
It’s finally here!
A lot of people may only know for about Mojang’s Scrolls from the news that Elder Scrolls maker Bethesda was suing their pants off for name conflict in one of the stupidest lawsuits ever. Well, starting next week, you can get into the public beta action by putting down a $20 pre-order at your local Scrolls.com, a domain that was probably so expensive that I’m sure Mojang would’ve cried every night had they needed to change their name.

Nexus 4 Comes In White, Should You Still Buy One?
Forever growing smartphones…
Okay, I admit, the idea of LG making a flagship Nexus phone last year seemed like a really drab affair. When was the last time you intentionally bought an LG phone? Really. Well, now the Korean company is announced their Google-blessed smartphone will be available in white. Well, most of it will be white.

Rush Bros (PC) Review: A Sum Less Than Its Parts
Rush Bros has an interesting pitch, but the game doesn’t deliver.
What if you could take the thrill of gaming speed runs, the instant restart and solid game mechanics of Super Meat Boy, and levels based on the pulsing, reactive action of your own music? You have to admit, that’d be a pretty sweet game, but this isn’t it. Despite its ambitious premise of creating a platforming game that’s endlessly replayable, the game falls short on nearly every front, winding up as a promising platformer with nowhere to jump.

Get Caught Up With ‘Dance Central 3’; All DLC Discounted
I am not one of these people.
When I bought a Kinect, Dance Central was a game I knew I had to have. Like many aspiring parents who bought a Wii Fit to try and lose pounds, I bought Harmonix’s dance simulator to try and get more active. Ha. Hahaha. Hahaha. Anyway, Dance Central 3‘s DLC is on sale this week, up to 50%.

‘Arrested Development’ Season 4 Review: As Good As It Gets
The gang is back! Kinda!
Perhaps Mitchell Hurwitz shouldn’t have said a thing. I didn’t watch his Arrested Development show when it aired. I didn’t understand it when fans would post random YouTube clips of the show and its eccentric characters completely out of context as if it were born of the comedy gods themselves. I absolutely positively didn’t understand it when he made Sit Down, Shut Up, a terrible cartoon starring many AD alums. Well, I finally watched AD and I got it from the get-go. Why did I wait so long?
So why shouldn’t have Mitchell Hurwitz mentioned that the newest season of AD, brought to us by industry-changing Netflix, would feature performances filmed nearly four months apart between actors because of their hectic availability? Because maybe I wouldn’t have been thinking about it so much when pushing through the season’s 15 episodes.

‘The Hangover Part III’ Review: Can This Franchise Finally Die?
Yep, that’s the Wolf Pack. Shenanigans will certainly ensue.
The Hangover was a damn good movie. It combined dark comedy, crude humor, and a noir-ish mystery plot into one of the more innovative mainstream comedies of the past two decades. I still like that movie. Then The Hangover Part II came out, and that was just a shallow retread of the original. Now four years after the original flick made waves, The Hangover Part III hits theaters. It breaks with the formula of the first two movies, but the filmmakers neglected to include much in the way of actual jokes or gags.
