That’s right kiddies, it’s time for the official beta of ARMA III, the award winning mil-sim, to hit the world like a nuclear bomb. Ever since the original ARMA came out back in 2006, they have been redefining the way people look at strategic shooters.

ARMA III promises to be more of the same highly tactical, highly strategic shooter goodness that made it famous, along with a huge dose of things people have been asking for, for a very long time. Some of the issues that people have had with the game include its overly complex menu and command system, which seem to have been reworked so the game is much more user-friendly.

The game has been available as an extremely stable alpha build for quite some time now and by the time you read this it should be available in beta for your testing pleasure. You can get the game in a number of different places, including Steam and if you managed to get in while it was still in alpha, you got it for $32.99. If you waited until the beta you’re going to pay $44.99 for it and if you hang out and lock down that wallet until the full release, you’re going to drop the standard $59.99 to get in on this one.

If you’re looking for a great mix of price and awesomeness, get in on the beta now. We’ll most likely be hosting a wasteland server so you can get in on some sexy goodness. Look for us when you can!
