E3 2013: Game Companies Need Better Swag, Here’s What They Need To Do

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a bottle opener as a piece of swag from E3 before, but I’ll let publishers borrow that royalty-free. That Drive Club keychain above is the coolest piece of swag I’ve picked up this year, far and away. It’s simple, it feels premium and it will be around long after I’m dead. It’s awesome as hell and I wish more companies handed them out. I’m not talking cheap keychains either, I’m talking the good stuff. Cast metal. Once you dole out plastic stuff or little things that light up, that’s when all that goodwill goes away.
