The Jerk Theory Review – Should’ve Kept This Film In The Vault

Look. If you send us movies, chances are good that we’ll review them. Yes, I’m talking to you, the guy with the ABC Family reject high school romance film that was produced five years ago (our lovely lady lead brandishes an original iPhone, for instance) and has spent the subsequent time since sitting in a moisture-free locker. Yeah, we’re still gonna give it a look over. So, here it is: skip this movie. Still not sufficiently warned? Read on…

Planetside 2 Beta Keys? We Haz Them! And We’ll Be Giving Them Away! [UPDATE: We Are Out!]

Beta? YAY-TA!

As I’ve discussed, my hands-on time with Planetside 2 was one of my highlights at E3. It was so good, in fact, that we awarded it Best Shooter and Best MMO at E3 2012.

The beta for the game is going to begin soon (the date has not been disclosed but they have said “soon”) and people from all over the world are going to be able to get their hands on the game long before the public at large sees it.

Rock of Ages Review: Another Nail in the Coffin

Rock of Ages Review: Another Nail in the Coffin

Rock of Ages hits theaters this week, a safe, sterilized elegy to the over-the-top hair metal of the ‘80s. Rock of Ages contains all of the stupidity and cheesiness of the ‘80s but none of the gross excesses and none of the fun. This muddled mess of a musical won’t win over any new converts, and it will likely turn off die hard fans.

E3 2012 – Hands On With Sleeping Dogs By Square Enix

Hong Kong. The bright lights, the bustling city, the Triads.

At E3 2012, we got our hands on LOTS of titles and were able to play some really stunning new games and IP’s as well as sequels and reboots of existing games and IP’s. From mobile games to console games to PC games, we spent all of our time there looking at all of the things that are coming up in the near future, as well as some things which are further out toward the horizon.

One of the more exciting experiences I had was when I got my hands on the new IP by Square Enix, known as “Sleeping dogs”.

Halo 4 Multiplayer – Red Vs. Blue Explained – With Gameplay Video

Why do those crazy Spartans keep killing each other? Let’s find out!

At E3 2012, we saw a lot of big titles. One of the biggest was undoubtedly Halo 4. As part of the discussions on the mega-hit franchise, we were told that the new release would solidify the adversarial facet of the multiplayer game and give it meaning.

It was explained to us that there would be a reason for the Spartans to be fighting one another, rather than just running about and seeing who could score the most headshots, flag captures and kills. They said that an explanation was coming that would tie it all together and make it make sense; That it wouldn’t just be Spartans killing Spartans any longer.

That explanation has come.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Review: More of the Same

The world’s greatest detective and his long suffering sidekick return again to save the European continent in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. If you hated Guy Ritchie’s over-amped, slap stick-y approach to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic detective, you’ll detest this movie. If you liked it, you should like this. A Game of Shadows is essentially more of the same, but with flashier action sequences and a more convoluted plot.
