And here we are, now a month into the Oceana project. This week the pyramid began to take on its final form and we had to say goodbye to a few elements dear to our massive pyramid. Still, progress has remained steady despite a smaller group of key personnel. Because I’m A Contrarian Jerk: I Thought The Avengers Was Rubbish
Before we start, let me note that most of the staff thought The Avengers was a pretty good film. You can even read our official review, done by Rob. That said, I came out of the theater with a very different opinion after two and a half hours of superhero malarkey: I thought it kinda sucked. I can’t be the only one in the world to believe so, but I’m obviously in the minority. So what was wrong with The Avengers? A lot. (Also: there are going to be plenty of spoilers, so please don’t advance unless you’ve seen it. Or simply don’t care.)

The Avengers – Review: Super Movie Or Super Dud?
Let me start this off by telling you something I’ve said before; I don’t do comic books. I never have and I think it’s safe to say, at this point in my life, that I never will.
That being said, I have watched a lot of super-hero movies. Why? Well because I don’t pretend to be the kind of guy who needs high-brow intellectual crap to entertain me and I’m not at all above getting a thrill out of seeing people get kicked in the junk by people with super powers.
