I Love Whiskey Media’s SOPA Coverage

Did you know that the capital of Sweden is Scandinavia? Or that Steven Soderbergh originally worked on The Golden Girls before being ousted in his attempt to kill off the principal characters? While a lot of internet sites were down today in protest of SOPA and PIPA (including our own), the Whiskey Media folks took to Giant Bomb for a live show instead. Read the rest of this article…

Sites Involved in SOPA/PIPA Protest, Son, I am Disappoint

If you have visited our site in the last 12 hours you have seen a message about us being opposed to SOPA/PIPA and a link to americancensorship.org. That’s it. No getting to our website to read anything, just that message and link. That’s what a protest is. I was a little disappointed in other sites that went “dark” in protest. ‘Gentlemen Broncos’ Is The Worst Movie I’ve Seen This Year

After watching Gentlemen Broncos, I felt like hero Benjamin about two-thirds of the way through as he stumbles out of a screening for the amateur production of his book, Yeast Lords, and vomits into a trash can. Benjamin submitted the book some time earlier at a writing camp to gain the attention of his literary hero, science fiction auteur Doctor Chevalier (Jemaine Clement), who, short a hit novel, steals Benjamin’s work and is now making millions through plagiarism. Throughout the film, Benjamin, trying to be a nice guy, gets walked over as others take advantage of him. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here to tell you that this film has taken advantage of me in my humble attempt to give the Hess’s a rebound shot. They completely failed. Now it’s 4AM and I have to deliver a receipt of the time I wasted.

SWTOR Version 1.1 – Rise Of The Rakghouls – Delayed

Fans of the hit game Star Wars: The Old Republic who have been looking forward to the new content patch are going to have to wait a little longer, according to BioWare.

Of course, this is the kind of thing that spawns 117,268,372,465 threads in the forum, full of people with entitlement issues crying because they can’t get their new content on but, for those of us with sense, it’s a lot better that they make sure it’s working than release it before its time and break the game.
