Fusion: Genesis – XBLA Review

By proxy, making games in space is really boring. Even the most hardcore of PC gaming houses gave up on it fifteen years ago because the options are really quite limited despite the literal universe of possibilities. As time has marched on and hardware has allowed for greater, better looking universes, few have sought to actually render them. Again, boring. So it was a breath of fresh air when a few ex-Rare guys (Donkey Kong Country, Banjo Kazooie) tasked themselves with a rags-to-riches space adventure. Unfortunately, Starfire Studios bit off a bit more than they could chew and for all its ambitions, Fusion: Genesis just can’t reproduce the simple joy of being a ship in a massive, opportunistic galaxy. The electronic cigarette, sometimes referred to as a “personal vaporizer” or, more hilariously, a “personal electronic nicotine inhalation system” has been around for quite some time. A few years, in fact.

Many people look in to e-cigs as a method of trying to get away from tobacco products, many of those because they are tired of not being able to smoke in bars or of getting yelled at by their partners for smoking too much whist enthralled in Netflix or playing video games like Modern Warfare or Skyrim.

For as long as they have been around, the questions “do they work” and “are they safe” have been at the forefront.

I would like to take a look at the electronic cigarette, the market and the devices available, and talk about those 2 burning questions.

As Week one comes to an end, you should be weighing in at just over 8,000 words. You’re probably feeling pretty good, thinking that you can indeed do this. It doesn’t seem so hard! Then Week 2 comes. The sleep deprivation hits, you realize that you made a critical error in the beginning of the novel, and your characters are fighting for the spotlight. Well people, keep on trucking.
