Hello there, Mister Doctor Maaaaaaaaaaaan.
You haven’t seen strategized marketecture quite like this. To sell you on their valuable position in, I don’t know, keeping people alive in hospitals, General Electric has employed Hugo Weaving, with the blessing of the Wachowskis and Warner Brothers, as Agent Smith. An evil dude.

“That’s a negative, Worf!”
Star Trek’s Next Generation is my jam, but Minecraft is, too! What a conflict of interest! No longer! We now have a finished version of Picard’s Enterprise-D at one-sixth scale, wrapped in an elaborate texture pack to complete the illusion.

Rockstar Releases ‘Grand Theft Auto’ Soundtracks To Spotify, iTunes
Okay, you’ll still need to exercise some discretion when finding the official albums, but they’re not hard to find.
I don’t know if you ever looked inside your Grand Theft Auto IV case beyond merely retrieving the disc, but that instruction manual? It has a lot of credits. Like, tons and tons and tons and tons. A huge chunk of them are for all the licensing they had to pull off to get as many songs into the game as they did, literally a soundtrack per radio station in the game. Rockstar just unveiled their soundtracks for purchase or streaming on iTunes and Spotify respectively, but you’ll find, as I did, a few too many missing memories.

A Commentary On Violence, Race, And Choice In ‘BioShock Infinite’
There’s a lot going on behind the scenes in BioShock Infinite.
When I first finished BioShock Infinite, I did what many of us do when confronted with a twisting, turning, rollicking good time of a game/movie/book/whatever: I immediately went to the internet to see what other people were thinking about the game. At first, I found a lot of interesting posts about the ending–interpretations, theories, that sort of thing. I felt like I’d pretty well wrapped my head around the game and wanted to see if there were divergent opinions or interpretations.
Now that the dust has settled somewhat on the surface elements of the game–reviews, the ending, etc.–serious attempts to reflect on and draw insight into the game have begun to pop up. The two that stuck out to me the most were Chris Plante’s article about the violence in the game over at Polygon and Daniel Golding’s take on the game’s artistry, racism, and gravitas at the Australian Broadcast Corporation. I read those articles and many others like them and felt that a couple of significant points have been missed by the gaming community. I felt the need to weigh in and offer up a couple cents on the violent content and racial issues touched on in the game. Read the rest of this article…
Gun Control? What A Farce!
Gun control means hitting your target.
Yeah yeah, I know. Gun control is a hot debate topic these days and it’s generally not a great idea to jump into such an argument with both feet unless you’re ready for all of the crazies to come out of the woodwork. But, sometimes something happens that is so outrageous or so incredible that we just have to put aside the worry of getting bum rushed by morons and just put our opinion out there.

Amazon Bribes Would-Be Kindle Fire Developers With New Virtual ‘Amazon Coins’
Oh great.
It seems odd at a time when Microsoft is rumored to be ditching their fictitious and consumer-unfriendly Points system in favor of hard currency, Amazon is ready to step on with their own surrogate payment system. The goal, like any other virtual dollar, is to get people to convert their real money into a kind of Itchy & Scratchy money that can only be used on Amazon’s Kindle Fire. Of course, they’re promising some great things for app developers.
