‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ Demo Coming To Xbox 360, PS3 Soon
Batman + Kryptonite = Superman gets pwnt?
I love demos. I’ve loved them ever since publishers started making them and I’ve loved them even more since they started becoming widely available. Let’s be honest, nobody likes seeing some trailers and reading a couple of biased, hogwash reviews, then going and dropping $60 on a game that turns out to be a steaming pile of crap, right? That’s the great thing about demos, they allow us to get a feel for what the game is really like before we spend our hard earned cash on it. Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced that a demo for the upcoming DC Comics fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us will be available for Xbox 360 on April 2nd and PlayStation 3 on April 3rd.
Sniper 2: Ghost Warrior (PC/PS3/Xbox 360) Review: Blowing Up Heads And Having Fun Doing It
Too soon?
A while back I talked about the impending release of Sniper 2: Ghost Warrior and dropped a clip with some gameplay footage. Well, the game has released now and I’ve had a chance to play through the whole thing, popping domes, splitting wigs, making the pink mist and generally busting fools up.
Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductions Coming, Inductees And Appearances Announced
Sex, Drugs and FleshEatingZi…er…Rock and Roll!
It’s that time of year again when our favorite rockers are elevated, placed on a pedestal; this is induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On April 18th, the 28th annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony will kick off and some serious talent will earn their place in music history.
For some of them, it’s about time.
Study Claims Video Game Industry Leads Retail Enforcement Of Age Restrictions
Who do they think is going to believe this hogwash?
So, yeah. The Federal Trade Commission conducted a study under which they claim to have come to the conclusion that retailers of video games are not only the strictest, but are also the most effective “among entertainment retailers” in enforcing age rating policies.
Hmmm… that part may be true. I mean, I’m sure it’s harder for a twelve-year old to get an M-rated game at a proper video game store than it is at a large, national chain department store but, once we get past that point, the whole story goes pear-shaped. I’m going to have to call shenanigans.
‘Reef Shot’ Review: Shy Of SCUBA Perfection
SCUBA diving meets computer games. Interesting.
A few days ago, I was contacted by the PR folks who are handling a new game called Reef Shot, created by Polish studio Nano Games. They asked me if I’d like to check it out for review and, since I’m a SCUBA diver, I thought it would be a fun way to spend some time, so they fired me off a copy to mess around with.
YouTube Exceeds 1 Billion Monthly Viewers
A billion users. God we’re bored.
YouTube: by far the most popular video destination on the interwebs. On the ‘Tube, you can watch everything from videos of people making drunken asses of themselves, to video game walkthroughs, political debates, music videos, reality TV, movies, and, as often as anything else, you can watch people share their opinions with the world.
The Transportation Safety Administration Takes Another Round Of Criticism For Stopping Marine Amputee
Thousands Standing Around?
The Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) came under fire again recently for their stopping of a wounded marine. The marine, who had both of his legs blown off by an IED while deployed on active duty, was forced to remove his prosthetic legs and stand away from his wheel chair while they searched it.

The Problem With Kickstarters And Why It Is Pissing Me Off
GIMME DA CAAAASSSSSH!
All right guys, this Kickstarter shit is getting completely out of hand. I can understand the campaigns for things that would be hard to fund, like the upcoming space-sim Star Citizen/Squadron 42. That would have been difficult because when you accept publisher support, you have to do things on their timeline and Chris Roberts seems unwilling to release a game before it’s done. That’s why most games suck so hard these days.
What I can’t understand is why people are going out and starting Kickstarters for absolutely ridiculous shit.
