4) Staggering lack of announced launch titles.
Microsoft made a big show of pulling out a bunch of their top performers. We got to see titles like Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Metal Gear Solid 5 and a few other sequels, and listen on while the presenters talked about open-world this and learning AI that. The problem is that most of the games which were announced today seem to be releasing in the Spring of 2014, while the console is coming out in November…So what are we supposed to do for 4 months? Play XBLA games?
