‘ARMA 3’ Creator Bohemia Interactive: HACKED

Seems BIS has “Arrived”

Well, add Bohemia Interactive to the list of game developers who have had their database(s) hacked by useless skids (the very derogatory term for kiddies who use scripts to do their hacking for them). This has happened so many times in the past with other developers that it sort of seems like old-hat at this point.

So what did the hackers get?

Just, madness.

It’s late, I know! I know! But, we got one up! Cody and I attack this thing pretty much blind except for the ongoing Steam sale. We tackle everything from marinated mozzarella to owning pretty much every game on the sales roster. Did you know Just Cause 2 is $2.99? Make that shit happen, yo!

Why Can’t I Watch YouTube Videos? Help Me, Internet!

I’m sure this is an actual error somewhere.

Last week, Rob gave you some instructions on how we cleared up some YouTube slowness we’ve been experiencing at the FEZ Palace in hopes it might clear up some issues you might be having. Well, it hasn’t been too helpful for me, maybe its my computer and someone can point out issues that have been frustrating me. Let me dive a little deeper into the issue and maybe we can collaborate on something about this YouTube mess. Read the rest of this article…

The Nokia 1020 Is A Good Phone, Minus Everything About It

The Nokia 1020 Is A Good Phone, Minus Everything About It

Nokia CEO Elop was in full PR mode showing off this phone to The Verge

Nokia finally brought their show horse out: a Windows Phone with a 41-megapixel camera bolted onto the back., the Lumia 1020. In an age when 12-13-megapixel cameras are cutting edge for flagship phones, this seems a bit like overkill, but it allows for some very awesome photos from a smartphone. It’s great tech, but unfortunately, it’s the everything else about the Lumia 1020 that’s ready to doom the whole thing.

‘Star Citizen’: What’s In Store With The New Stretch Goals?

Every day, the pool gets bigger and the rewards get better!

The crowdfunding run for Chris Roberts’ upcoming Star Citizen is by far the most impressive the world has ever seen. From the Kickstarter campaign that raised over $2 million, Chris went on to private crowdfunding in hopes of raising enough money to be able to release his game without the help of not just publishers, but private investors, a feat he says will require Cloud Imperium Games to raise $20 million.

In exchange for the generosity of his customers, Chris has regularly expanded the scope of the finished game. So what’s being offered now?

‘Grand Theft Auto V’s Gameplay Trailer Is Finally Here

Dat Trailer

Rockstar Games released the first gameplay trailer for GTAV today which, in my opinion, looks crazy sick. As the opening narration states:

With Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar have tried to reimagine the open world game in a number of ways…

Of course, they then go on to show us all about it.

‘Phantom’ Vs. ‘K-19: The Widowmaker’: The Battle Of The Cold War Soviet Sub Flicks

Soviet Sucmarine captains gotta hustle!

With the recent release of Ed Harris and David Duchovny’s submarine thriller Phantom to homes., I took the opportunity to review it. It’s pretty terrible. That doesn’t make for much of an article, but I was reminded very much of Kathryn Bigelow’s take on the Soviet navy over a decade ago in K-19: The Widowmaker, a film that didn’t woo critics or dollars to the box office, but it impressed me. In discovering how different they were, I was surprised at how similar they were. So where did they both go so wrong in two totally different ways?

‘Europa Report’ Review: Science Fiction Isn’t Dead Yet

These things never end well.

Europa Report tells the story of a band of astronauts who set out to discover life on Jupiter’s aquatic moon. Of course they get considerably more than they bargained for in their process. Has there ever been a science fiction movie where an intrepid group of scientists venture out into unknown only to find nothing? Director Sebastian Cordero effectively merges science fiction, horror, and the found footage subgenre into one of the year’s most thoughtful films.
