Can Netflix Bounce Back from Failure?
Last night after I heard the news that Netflix actually lost 800,000 subscribers compared to it’s original 600,000 estimate I immediately checked out the stock value. It was trading after hours at about $86/share. Today when I checked the stock I felt like I was being stabbed in the gut and I don’t even own stock in the company. It dropped 35% from the day before’s closing bell; $119/share to $77/share, $6 billion value to $4 billion. At it’s peak it was $298/share about $18 billion value, that’s just crazy to me. MC Hammer and his Wiredoo
MC Hammer has decided that he wants his own search engine. Wiredoo is still in the making, and hasn’t been released in beta, but come on, really? He claims that it will be greater than Google in every way, including not only searching for relevant results, but also suggesting related searches. Wait…doesn’t Google already do that? Search engines such as Bing have already tried to out do Google. Any one remember Lycos.com? Or Ask.com? Hell, barely anyone uses the Yahoo or AOL search engines anymore.

Modern Warfare 3 Behind the Scenes of ELITE and Strike Packages
Statistics, statistics, statistics. That’s the main reason I think people will pay to have ELITE. There are other things you can do like change your classes, learn how to properly use every gun in the game, study maps and find alternative routes to objectives and STATS! I mean it looks like everything is put together really well but do you really want to pay $50 extra a year for it? Read the rest of this article…

Review: Once Upon a Time Pilot- Minimal Spoilers
Once Upon A Time, there was a world of fairy tales that was cursed into a world where happily ever after did not exist. That world is our world. That is the premises of the new ABC show Once Upon a Time. Starting out with the ending of the known tale of Snow White and moving forward to where the witch makes her threat at the wedding of Snow White and Prince Charming (yes, those are their names as of now). Think the opening scene of Sleeping Beauty and you’ve got the right idea. The show bounces between two realms, the Fairy Tale world and our world. Read the rest of this article…

Carl’s been shot. Rick is flipping out. Sophia’s missing and the world is still turned upside down. That’s where we left off in episode 1.

Love It Or Hate It, The iPod Changed Music, Turned 10 Today
I was for the iPod before I was against it, but even I can’t deny how important it was to the formation of this post-PC era. As many of you know, I picked up the 10GB version of the one you see above. It was the first iteration they released for Windows and it was October 2002. The massive, cubic packaging (which they would shed quickly) was only about half-full of product, including the iPod, crappy earbuds, a remote that was too heavy to keep clamped on anything, and a Firewire cable. Yes, I needed a Firewire card to even use the thing and that puppy got hot when you started transferring stuff over. The screen was monochromatic with a bright white backlight that faded in and out as you used it. Sure there were other MP3 players out at the time, but this is the one you actually wanted.

Movie Review – The Three Musketeers – With Some Spoilers
I’ve always been a fan of The Three Musketeers…their struggle against corruption, greed, tyranny and drunken debauchery. The characters of Porthos, Athos, Aramis and D’artagnan have entertained me for hours upon hours of reading and watching films.
When I found out there was a new Three Musketeers movie being released, I was very cautiously optimistic.
Then I saw it.
