My 90’s Crush: Julia Roberts

This week, the FleshEatingZipper staff writes about their crushes from the Bill Clinton, Arsenio Hall, and Gangster’s Paradise-esque 1990′s!

Yes, my 90’s crush was Julia Roberts.

What?

Look, don’t hassle me. Before she was a girl standing in front of a boy, or a girl eating and praying and loving, Julia Roberts was the “it” girl thanks to a little movie about a hooker with a heart of gold. And, yes, I had a thing for her.

Besides, it was the 90’s. People were into crazy things back then. Things like Beanie Babies, Pogs, Power Rangers and Tickle Me Freakin’ Elmo dolls.

What Is All This “Cloud Music Service” Stuff, Anyway?

What Is All This “Cloud Music Service” Stuff, Anyway?

Earlier this month, I went over the merits of Apple’s new iTunes Match service and found it was a fine solution for backing up your non-iTunes purchases if you already had Apple products, but now that I’ve had a bit more time with the competition, I have to ask again: is all this hullabaloo about cloud services for music worth all the rabble? Let’s dive in…

My 90’s Crush: Misty

This week, the FleshEatingZipper staff writes about their crushes from the Bill Clinton, Arsenio Hall, and Gangster’s Paradise-esque 1990′s!

While most male teenagers were attracted to pop stars, actresses, and other real people, I was busy crushing on the gym leader of Cerulean City: Misty from Pokémon. That’s right, I was infatuated with a cartoon character. And I’m not ashamed.

My 90′s Crush: Erika Eleniak

This week, the FleshEatingZipper staff writes about their crushes from the Bill Clinton, Arsenio Hall, and Gangster’s Paradise-esque 1990′s!

Ahhh, Erika. During the 1990’s she starred in a number of movies from Chasers to Under Siege to The Beverly Hillbillies, television shows like Baywatch and she was featured in Playboy magazine a few times. I can’t remember the first time I saw her but I do remember the first time her ass nearly made me fall out of my chair. A scene in the movie “Chasers” where she was climbing up a ladder with a pair of French cut panties on…

Jesus Christ.

Things You Shouldn’t be Doing on Facebook

This isn’t the typical don’t spam people with game posts or click on links like “OMG Miley is at it Again, CLICK HERE!” I’m sure she is but that link is just going to give you a link to download a virus. No, this is the stuff that gets you in trouble, fired or makes you lose money. Read the rest of this article…

Game Of Thrones – Rob’s Take On The Series

Game Of Thrones – Rob’s Take On The Series

The next Lord of the Rings? Maybe…

This show was brought up a few weeks ago in our podcast (this spawned the nickname Kelly “King Times” Karnetsky). We talked about kings and sword fights and hot chicks getting banged (and seeing their boobies). Well, I’ve just sat down and watched the series, from beginning to current, and here’s what I think about it.

My 90’s Crush: Spice Girls

My 90’s Crush: Spice Girls

This week, the FleshEatingZipper staff writes about their crushes from the Bill Clinton, Arsenio Hall, and Gangster’s Paradise-esque 1990’s!

When “Wannabe” landed on the radio in late 1996, it instantly clung to the top spot on Sweet 98.9FM’s Top 5 for weeks and didn’t let go. I was in Bellevue, Nebraska at the time, somewhat geographically distant from the Spice Girls’ homeland of Jolley Olde Englande, and here I was up late nights bopping along with my Walkman. I didn’t even know their names until much later, I was technically just using them. But c’mon: I was twelve. I didn’t have “feelings” for them at the time, I just thought they were pretty. And British.

Cityville? Blow Me!

Cityville? Blow Me!

I used to be a Cityville player…I’ll admit it. I was never a fan of Zynga games, or Facebook games in general but the other staff members here at FleshEatingZipper conned me in to playing it and, for a time, I fell in love. After a while, though, the sheen wore off and I couldn’t be bothered to log in any more. Still yearning for my sim fix, from time to time, I went searching and found Paradise Island on the marketplace.
