The Suck Of Staying In Hotels

So, I’m out of town for the next 4 days for a business conference (Who does conferences over a weekend? Seriously?) and the resort I am staying at has a secure proxy to the interwebs…pretty much like every other hotel in the world. Except that this one has a major problem.

First X-Men: First Class Trailer!

Posted by on February 10, 2011 at 10:47 pm in Entertainment

Gee, it’s about time. For a movie that’s only four months out, it seems like Fox is cutting it a little close promoting this film. It’s also a good thing, because this comes not long after some disastrous looking cast photos leaked out a few weeks ago.

IE9 is now Release Candidate

Daaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmnnnnnnn you Microsoft! I was really hoping that this was just going to stay beta forever. Now I need to make sure this site works for IE9, I already have enough problems with IE and I’ll be asking clients, “what version of IE are you using? 6, 7, 8 or 9? Oh, you don’t know how to tell?” *mute phone* “DAMNIT TO HELL!”

I don’t even know if I should link to the download, fine here it is.

Activision Laying Off 500 After Guitar Hero’s & True Crime’s Production was Called Off

Hearing stories like this really piss me off, and no it’s not because I just started getting into these type of games, luckily I bought Rock Band because I still have a chance to get more games. Why did Activision stop production of Guitar Hero? Decline in people wanting to buy music genre games and wanting to find more profitable ventures. Well maybe if there was 24 titles across the gaming platform in only 5 years people would still be interested in the music genre? Don’t believe me? Read the rest of this article…

Captain America and Why I’m Getting Tired of Comic Book Movies

If you watched Superbowl XLV, you probably saw the new trailer for Captain America: The First Avenger. Based on the comic from the 1940s, the film releases on July 22, 2011 and is the fifth independent production from Marvel Studios after Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2 and Thor.

Personally, the trailer doesn’t inspire more than mild disinterest from me. Is anyone else getting tired of all of these comic book movies?
