As I write this, E3 2012 is only 2 weeks away. The rumors started hitting the internet months ago but the closer we get, the faster they are generated and, at this point, they are dripping out of the woodwork.
I’ve already done an E3 predictions article, followed up by another written by Nick and in many cases our predictions are fairly divergent. Those predictions are based on rumor, speculation and a bit of research, in most cases. The rumors we run across are…well, they’re rumors. We don’t know who started them, or when, or how, but someone started them and once they take off, they spread like wildfire.
So since we’ve already gotten our predictions out of the way, let’s have a look at some of the other unconfirmed goodness which may or may not grace us at E3 2012.
If for some reason you’re not aware, E3 is the world’s biggest gaming event. All the big companies bring out their wares, both soft and hard, in a (sometimes laborious) horse and pony show for the world to see. All the major outlets are there and every gaming eye and ear is paying attention to these industry-shaking announcements. So what will happen at this year’s show? We all have our thoughts on the matter, and being FleshEatingZipper, we know a few things about this industry, so just like Rob did the other day, it’s time to make a few predictions as to what gaming’s movers and shakers will unveil in just two and a half weeks.
E3 2012 is a scant 3 weeks away and Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Activision, EA, and many other massive players in the entertainment and gaming worlds will be making tons of announcements regarding new and exciting things which are coming up for all of us in the near future.
When so many people are going to be making so many announcements about so many things, there’s bound to be tons of rumor and speculation about what’s to come. So now it’s my turn to speculate and share with all of you a few of my predictions as to what will happen at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, 2012.
With our inaugural trip to E3 mere weeks away, we at FleshEatingZipper are obviously excited about the scores of big titles that we’ll be able to get our hands on and report for you. Unfortunately, it’s just as big a disappointment to you as it us to us when companies announce that they’re not going to be bringing their games to the show. With that, let’s get all of our tears out of the way for those titles and move on. Be better together. Somehow…
