A news anchor addresses the world’s most vile foe: someone from the internet.
I know two things: I’m fat and I’ve been on the internet long enough to know what a troll is. In a passionate editorial that’s quickly making the internet rounds, WKBT anchor Jennifer Livingston addresses a specific e-mail from a concerned writer who doesn’t actually watch her program. In it, the writer makes the point that as a local celebrity, she has an obligation to be a good example to those who would look up to her, namely by being in shape. Jennifer then replies, but despite her passionate plea, she fails to address a critical issue: America needs to lose weight.

During my time at Best Buy, I was acquainted with a wonderful General Manager out of South Carolina named Mechelle Morrison. We’ve never met in person, but we’ve known each other on Facebook for several years and she’s a wonderful woman. On August 24th, she reported that her sister, Crystal Morrison Prentice, had gone missing the day before between 12:30 and 1:00pm after leaving her work at Connextions Recruiting in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

There exists, in this world, a lot of really horrible things and really horrible people. Some of the bad things I can think of are having your air conditioner go out in the middle of a heatwave, getting hit in the testicles with a 2 iron, cutting your finger while you’re slicing lemons and NBC’s coverage of the Olympics.
Some of the bad people I can think of are Osama Bin Laden, Josef Mengele, Ted Bundy and the person who plans Nintendo’s press briefings.
Of all of the bad people I can think of in the world, though, none of them strike me as being the kind of worthless, scandalous, in need of being found and arrested NOW, scumbag pictured above.
