The HTC EVO 4G was a pretty big deal last year — everyone just loved the powerfully thin phone with the 4.3″ screen, that it happened to be the your first phone to use your much-vaunted WiMax-based 4G network was a plus. You made the smaller EVO Shift to fill out the keyboard-needing market, but this year you decide that an EVO-branded future relies on a 3D cellphone (what?) and yet another tablet that will fail miserably against the iPad.

AT&T is Buying T-Mobile for $39 Billion

You might have heard the rumors last week that Sprint was looking to buy T-Mobile from Deutsche Telekom which would really help Sprint because they are losing customers left and right. Well this is official, of course it still has to pass through the government but AT&T offered to buy T-Mobile USA for $25 billion in cash and $14 billion in stock.

So I Just Tried Installing IE9 And…

Yes, that is the first thing that I saw. Maybe it was because I was using Google Chrome to download it or maybe I sabotaged the install somehow. I restarted my computer, opened IE 8 and wen’t to the download site. This time instead of telling me to pick my version of Windows Vista either 32 or 64 bit, I was instead greeted by the download IE 9 for Windows 7 64 bit. Yay, that’s me!
