Hotmail Gains Outlook View, Doesn’t Quite Win Over This Gmail Fan
Hotmail looks a lot better as Outlook, just sayin’.
Microsoft wouldn’t come out and say it, but Hotmail is becoming Outlook; a Metro-themed extravaganza without much of Hotmail’s muchness. The new Outlook web portal eschews most of the crap that had been caked onto Hotmail over the years, especially after their Live services launch years back. The new look is fantastic, if perhaps simplistic to the point of being barren (something that underserves the sophistication of Microsoft’s products at times) and comes with a clean Messenger client and Skype calling right in the panel. If I still used Hotmail regularly, this would probably be the best news ever. But I don’t.

World Of Warcraft – How It Has Almost Killed MMO Gaming
We, the jury, find the defendant GUILTY of the attempted murder of MMO Games!
World Of Warcraft, the MMO Juggernaut which was created by Blizzard all those years ago is one of the most successful video games in history and is, without doubt, the most successful MMO – or Massively Multiplayer Online – game in existence.
Challengers for the title have come and gone over the years but none of them have managed to come close to taking the belt. This is because World of Warcraft has gone a long way toward destroying MMORPG’s.

Moonrise Kingdom Review: Everything You’re Expecting And Maybe A Little More
With Moonrise Kingdom we get to see Wes Anderson at his Wes-Anderson-iest (I’m sticking with that horribly unimaginative adjective until someone shows me a better way to describe his work), which is to say, this film is a lot like the rest of his films. That means Moonrise Kingdom is chock full of gorgeous cinematography, obscure ‘60s music, deadpan performances, dry comedy, and Bill Murray. Wes Anderson fans will praise it; Wes Anderson haters will despise it. Regardless, this movie contained everything I’ve come to expect from the auteur.

Let’s Continue Playing Minecraft: Trial of the Amiaba Ruins – Part 2!
I didn’t do it, it was all Nick’s fault!
Ok, Yeah, So…We’re Pretty Much All Dead.
Yep…we’re all screwed.
I’ve come upon the knowledge that a Japanese company called Suidobashi Heavy Industries is going to kill all of us with giant robots. That isn’t to say that they are going to do the killing directly but they are making the robots, which are available for purchase by the public, and the robots are going to end up doing the murders.

Strikefleet Omega Review: Great Space Strategy For Your Android Tablet
No Space Battlecruiser Yamato’s here!
I’ve been dying for a fun space strategy game on any platform for ages and recent offerings have been a bit flat. But the fact that are so few decent non-tower defense titles on phones/tablets kills me because the touch screen is perfect for that style of game. Strikefleet Omega is, reduced, a freemium tower defense game, something that would’ve thrown me off if someone had explained it to me that way, but instead, I’ve found a flashy little game that’s super fun to play and willing to swallow up your free time… if you have a tablet, that is.
