Is Zynga Really Ripping Off Tiny Tower? REALLY?
In case you hadn’t heard, developer Nimblebit sent out an e-mail comparing their game Tiny Tower to Zynga’s new Dream Heights game for iOS. From the shots alone, they look virtually identical in terms of presentation and gameplay (although I have to hand Zynga credit for not going with Tiny Tower’s chunky 8-bit art direction) leading to quite a bit of heat under Zynga’s tushie with accusations of outright plagiarism. Despite the newly invested confidence in Zynga’s stock, the company has had a list of issues following its IPO, so the claims aren’t helping things. But when I first heard about this story, I immediately thought the opposite: Nimblebit ripped off Zynga to make Tiny Tower.

TV Review – The Firm – It’s Happening Again
If you’ve been feeling that there just aren’t enough lawyer shows on television, then NBC has a mid-season legal thriller for you. And – bonus – you’ve heard the name before.
The Firm is a weekly series based on the John Grisham-penned, Tom Cruise-helmed legal thriller of the 1990s. Clearly, NBC is banking a lot on the show’s name recognition. They’ve already put in a surprising 22-episode order.
But the truly surprising thing is that the show isn’t half bad.

Apple Drop Your Prices & Make More Money
Apple, you are super rich. You just announced that you made $13 billion in profit last quarter. It almost sounds like I’m just throwing out a random number every time I say it, but it’s the truth. I want you to try something that may sound crazy — drop your prices to 50%. Of course, I’m just throwing something out, but thin your margin a little bit and see what happens to sales in a quarter. Virgin Gaming Hits The One Million Users Mark
While we know Keith isn’t too happy with Virgin right now, we are kind of excited to announce that their gaming site, which allows players to play for cash and prizes, has hit the milestone of 1 million users.
Why is this such a good thing? Because it means that gaming is becoming more and more mainstream and competitive gaming is taking off in a big way. This makes us happy!

Internet Piracy Is Inevitable. Stop Fighting It.
It sucks to see your stuff stolen. Whether it’s online or from your own house, seeing someone take something from you, perhaps valuable, with a second thought to the consequences, is dreadful. At some base level, one could look at the recent SOPA or PIPA legislation as the equivalent of punishing someone for stealing (or aiding someone to steal) from you, in much the same way cops jail people who steal your car or invade your home. Internet piracy is an entirely different animal, however: not only is the theft so incredibly easy, but the technological countermeasures go out of their way to harm legal purchasers as well. The fact is, media companies just need to stop fighting the change and embrace it for the better.

Virgin Mobile To Reduce Unlimited Data
Virgin Mobile’s all-you-can-eat data plan has apparently run it’s last course. Beginning March 23rd, VM will throttle the living piss out of their phones across the United States when data usage spills over 2.5GB’s. This will certainly put a damper on people who pay $25 or $35/month for an unlimited hot spot. What can you expect to happen once the dreaded date arrives? How will you be affected? And is Virgin Mobile really after your data cherry? I tried so hard to fit in a virgin joke and it failed miserably. Dammit.

New USPS Ad Attacking Email Because Viruses Are Scary
USPS is obviously not targeting my generation because I will honestly forger about a bill if it’s on a piece of paper and not in my email. The ad starts off saying that a refrigerator has never been hack. Lets say that it’s never been hacked yet but I’m sure when the prices of connected fridges drop someone will hack them to spoil your milk because they can. Read the rest of this article…
The Best Of “Shit People Say”
It all began with a video titled “Shit Girls Say“. Much like a bad case of herpes started in a dormitory at Arizona State University, the video spread across the entire interwebs in less than a week. Not too soon after the video went viral, multiple spin-offs were created by different people for different people. You’ll notice every video starts off with the person titled saying unintelligent, repetitive, yet endearing things that’ll make you say laugh, cry or close the window. Most fall flat but with some investigating and several shots of Johnnie Walker, we here at FleshEatingZipper found the top 5 shit people say videos!
