‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ Demo Coming To Xbox 360, PS3 Soon

Batman + Kryptonite = Superman gets pwnt?

I love demos. I’ve loved them ever since publishers started making them and I’ve loved them even more since they started becoming widely available. Let’s be honest, nobody likes seeing some trailers and reading a couple of biased, hogwash reviews, then going and dropping $60 on a game that turns out to be a steaming pile of crap, right? That’s the great thing about demos, they allow us to get a feel for what the game is really like before we spend our hard earned cash on it. Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced that a demo for the upcoming DC Comics fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us will be available for Xbox 360 on April 2nd and PlayStation 3 on April 3rd.

Organ Trail: Director’s Cut (PC) Review: Zombie Survival, Plain And Simple

Organ Trail: Director’s Cut (PC) Review: Zombie Survival, Plain And Simple

It can get pretty crazy on the road when zombies stalk the wilderness…

With the recent release of The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, it’s hard to find a decent zombie-survival based game to play these days. Sure, you’ve got Valve’s Left 4 Dead, Telltale’s own take on The Walking Dead, and the ARMA II mod DayZ, but I need more. Amongst the indie titles are a few examples that stand out to me, one being a well-adapted strategy game called Atom Zombie Smasher, and another, the subject of this review, called Organ Trail. Pre-order Bonuses Could Not Save GameStop From $270m Loss Last Year

Pre-order Bonuses Could Not Save GameStop From $270m Loss Last Year

This is probably the fanciest one I’ve ever seen.

If you’re a gamer and you surf the internet, chances are you’ve been targeted by a GameStop ad. They’re not the worst, but their publisher-blessed facsimiles are pretty darn close. Blaming customers weary of a console cycle that’s gone on far too long, GameStop reported a $269.7 million loss last year compared to a $339.9 profit the year before.

FX Renews ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ …Again

FX Renews ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ …Again

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why this is a bad idea.

It’s that time again. FX has renewed the offensive, yet (somewhat) funny It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia for a tenth season, giving the gang additional air time after the ninth season debuts this fall. As a fan of the first few seasons, I have incredibly mixed feelings. Will the creators be able to plow through two seasons of original material or will they have to pull from previous seasons again?

GDC 13: Japan’s Indie Game Scene Rising Because Phil Fish Thought Their Games Sucked

A controversial comment stirred a sleeping giant.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Fez‘s Phil Fish told a Japanese developer that modern games from his country “just suck”. Fish received a harsh wave of criticism regarding his comments, which came at the end of a screening of Indie Game: The Movie at GDC, but he seems to have survived. Now it appears someone else took advantage of the comment: Japanese developers.

‘Tactical Intervention’, The New Shooter From ‘Counter-Strike’ Creator Minh Le, Opens Today

A shooter with scenarios? Pretty cool.

Since I’m not very quick on the draw, that whole wave of fast-paced shooters that washed over us in the late nineties and early aughts was something I was able to surf over. Unreal Tournament? Quake III? Counter-Strike? Yeah, didn’t play any of those. You may find yourself in love at the sight of Tactical Intervention though, Counter-Strike creator Minh Le’s ten-years-in-the-making follow-up. Because the game’s totally not in my alley, I decided to give it a try, anyway.

The Onion’s New Video About Follower-less Twitter User Is So True It Hurts

Like me, but.. no, I guess there’s no ‘but’.

We all love The Onion, primarily because they can take a sad situation that could possibly be real and expand on it. To say The Onion’s latest piece hit close to home speaks volumes about my expectations about how Twitter works, or rather, probably doesn’t work.
