New Teaser Trailer For Cyberpunk 2077

ERMAHGERD! CYRBERPURNK!!!

So…Cyberpunk.

From back in the day when I first read the book “Neuromancer” and played the adventure game of the same title on the Amiga, I’ve been in love with the cyberpunk genre of writing. Since the time I started playing the pen and paper game of the same name as this PC title (Different year, though…the pen and paper was set in 2020) I have been fascinated with the genre as it applies to gaming.

That’s why, when I heard about Cyberpunk 2077, I ruined 3 pairs of pants.

Evil Dead Red Band Trailer Makes Me Want To Not See Evil Dead

A most terrifying movie you will ever experience, according to the marketers.

This came out nearly a week ago and no one dropped a note for me to take a look. That was probably for a pretty good reason. I’ve mentioned before that I’m looking for a pretty good horror flick and the field has been littered with the corpses of just terrible, terrible stuff. I have now seen this red band trailer, the most severe of all of the trailers, and I cannot unsee what I have seen. Also: I’ve included it below.

Mayhem! In This Article, We Watch Car Insurance Commercials

I’m the guy floating in the masthead image of that article you keep reading, over and over.

I don’t watch TV often. I watch TV shows, sure, but there’s something so different about sitting in front of a cable (or satellite)-enabled TV that’s a very different experience from watching it in full screen on your computer. First thing I noticed: companies really want you to buy auto insurance. You might not have even noticed it before, but I noticed it, like some vast conspiracy operating in broad daylight. I don’t know the logistics on why or how they pick to spend so many dollars on advertising on television ads, but they certainly did. I took some time to examine this strange field of advertisements.

CES 2013: Audi, Lexus Show Off Useless Self-Parking Car Tech

Imagine this car parking itself.

Guys, I cannot wait for the self-driving car. Can not. The dream of thousands of cars automatically pushing themselves around our wonderful cities, just like they did in those classic World’s Fair Expos, gets me incredibly excited. So what are Audi and Lexus bringing to the table? Not much. Especially when you see how far ahead Google was years ago with cars that were completely autonomous.

CES 2013: 4K Ultra-High Definition Tech Will End Up In Your TV Someday Anyway

CES 2013: 4K Ultra-High Definition Tech Will End Up In Your TV Someday Anyway

You’ll need a TV that big (or bigger!) to take advantage of 4K in the first place.

As you’re well aware, CES is in full effect at the moment and all the biggest players in tech are showing off their wares. While the industry has been cost-reduced like crazy, tech giants like Sony and Samsung are bringing out all their best televisions, looking for the next big technological leap to justify gaining a few more measly points of margin out of their displays. In the past, it was 3D, now it’s apps, soon it’s 4K, a resolution so dense that unless you have a massive television, you can’t even physically see the pixels amongst the pixels. Thing is, this “disruptive” tech is gonna end up in your TV anyway. Just give it a few years.

How do you feel about someone staring at you while you watch TV? To watch you come and go from your living room? It sounds a little creepy but cool at the same time. Panasonic showed off it’s newest smart TV that recognizes who is watching it and shows customized channels and menus. Read the rest of this article…

US Court Says It’s Okay To Track Kids With RFID Tags In Public Schools

Andrea Gonzalez (center) lost a fight to not be tracked through her high school.

Just outside San Antonio, John Jay High School requires all of its students to wear RFID-enabled student badges to track their movements in and out of the school as well as into classrooms. In November, student Andrea Gonzalez was granted an in junction against her school district to not have to wear this tag on the defense that it violated her religious freedoms. Today, a US District Court judge denied her claim, freeing school districts anywhere from any potential passionate offense against tracking all students in a public school. But isn’t this future?
